Well, I wasn't on a bus (nor on a trip)...but I was sort of on a psychedelic tip for this show...aided by my special guest and Pirate Cat Colleague, Alex of Post Punk For Post Punks. Many a discussion ensued, peppering the musical playlist with idyllic banter as we discussed music, meaning, and life (as it were). Menacing Intentions on Tuesdays 10pm-Midnight, 87.9 FM PIRATE CAT RADIO.
Moan with pleasure, moan with pain...to a mix of sad sounds and dandy ditties along with some post-punk and ethereal pop, tunes of quirky quivers and other things that might make you shiver...

*Dance!* was the theme/mood I was feeling tonight...not a straight-up disco sound but something beat-driven," shake/move/bob" was what I was feeling in almost every song below. Post-punk morphing into something dance-y, romantic, pop-y & political, a little dark and even angry...all with an underlying pulse of a rhythm and/or beat. Check it out.
